With over 14 years of experience spanning security consulting, operations, and R&D, Omair has built ioSENTRIX into a trusted partner for Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, defense organizations, and high-growth startups.
Before founding ioSENTRIX, Omair served as Senior Security Engineer at Amazon Lab126, where he led security for Alexa and Fire TV product lines from 2015 to 2019. Prior to Amazon, he spent four years at Cigital (now Synopsys) as a Senior Security Consultant performing penetration testing, secure code review, and architectural risk analysis for clients in financial services, gaming, and technology. He began his career at Tellabs as a Software Design Engineer focused on network security.
Omair has performed penetration tests and security assessments for organizations including the London Underground (CBTC subway control systems), Bank of America, VISA, Electronic Arts, Prometric (ETS), Symantec, Sony, Nintendo, and MicroStrategy — analyzing systems ranging from a few thousand lines of code to tens of millions of lines across Java, .NET, and C/C++.
He is a published security researcher with responsible disclosures against vendors including Microsoft. His exploits have been incorporated into Immunity Sec's Canvas and the Metasploit Framework. He has authored whitepapers on SEH-based exploitation (CHASE 2007) and mobile authentication, and served as a technical reviewer for Computer Security (2nd Edition) by Prof. Dr. William Stallings. Omair is a keynote speaker at security conferences and has presented at events hosted by the Department of Defense, CISA, and BSides, where he also serves as a CFP Board Member and Reviewer.
His technical depth spans ethical hacking of web applications, thick clients (Windows, Linux, macOS), mobile applications (iOS, Android), embedded systems, and reverse engineering across multiple platforms.
